The two bars themselves are identical in weight and dimension and both passed an acid test using a testing stone and a new bottle of JSP testing acid. My only concern is the style of the etching with the bar on the left. It is much more rigid and almost looks like it was done by hand, where as the other bar is smooth and machine like. OP- when you did your acid test you rubbed silver plating on your stone which is why it tested positive. You need to take a file and make a small groove inthe edge of the bars, and drop the acid directly on the groove in the bar. No need to cut the bar in half, LMAO Also fake bars are thicker than real.999 in order to make the fakes (copper) weigh correctly.
